About us
What we do
We compare AI models the way you'd compare anything else that matters: by what they actually cost you and the world, not just what they can do.
DoctorKnow.ai compares AI systems by more than capability. We examine how they handle privacy, what values and guardrails they disclose, and what evidence exists about their environmental impacts — including water, energy, and carbon. Our aim is to turn that information into something clear enough that anyone can use it to compare systems according to their own priorities and standards.
We also examine the broader questions surrounding artificial intelligence: how systems are governed, what safeguards developers disclose, where regulation exists, what remains uncertain, and where meaningful public information is still missing. DoctorKnow.ai documents those questions and the evidence around them without advocating for a particular political, regulatory, or institutional outcome.
Some of those questions involve human oversight and control. Concepts such as shutdown mechanisms, human intervention, autonomous operation, and fail-safe design appear frequently in AI safety research and policy discussions. DoctorKnow.ai may document and compare those approaches where relevant, while distinguishing technical proposals, regulatory requirements, company practices, independent research, and areas where the evidence remains unsettled.
